All dancewear should be purchased at
Attitudes Dance and Activewear – located inside
Avalon School of the Arts.

Proper dance attire is required for all dance classes.
No jeans or street clothes are allowed.
No street shoes are allowed on the dance floor.
All students must have their hair pulled back neatly for class.

Combination Classes

Ballet/Tumbling Combination (age 3- 4) – Any color leotard, footless or convertible tights (so children can go barefoot for tumbling).  Ballet skirt is optional.  Pink ballet shoes (style: Bloch Bunnyhop).  NO dress up clothes, long skirts or street clothes, please. 

Ballet/Tap Combination (age 3-4 and 4-5) –  Any color leotard, tights, optional skirt.  Pink ballet shoes (Bloch Bunnyhop) and black tap shoes.

Tap/Tumbling Combination for Boys (3-4 year olds and 4-6 year olds) – Athletic attire – shorts or sweats with a t-shirt that can be tucked in.  NO shorts or pants with buckles or zippers.  Black tap shoes.

Jazz/Tap Combination – Any color leotard; tights, jazz pants or tights.  Black tap shoes.  Black jazz shoes or ballet shoes for the Jazz portion of class.  No bare feet.
  
Ballet (ages 4+)
Any color leotard, tights, pink leather or canvas ballet shoes.  Skirt or dance shorts are optional. NO gauchos or capris, NO street clothes.  Hair in a ponytail or bun.

Tap (age 5+)
Any color leotard or close fitting tshirt; jazz pants, gauchos, or capris.  NO jeans or street clothes.  Black tap shoes.
 
Jazz/Hip Hop (age 6+)
Any color leotard or close fitting tshirt; jazz pants, gauchos, or capris.  NO jeans or street clothes.  Black jazz shoes or hip hop sneakers.  Level 4 students may need tan jazz shoes, check with instructor before purchasing.

Modern (age 10+)
 Any color leotard or close fitting tshirt; jazz pants, shorts, gauchos or capris.  NO jeans or street clothes.  Bare feet or Dance Paws.
    
Tumbling (age 4+)
Any color leotard with shorts, jazz pants or sweats.  No bagging clothing.  White tumbling shoes are required.
