Dress Code Policy
 
 
Proper Dance attire is required for all dance classes
Please go to Attitudes Dance and Active Wear for all shoe fittings.
No jeans or street clothes allowed
No street shoes are allowed on the dance floor
All students must have their hair pulled back neatly for class.
 
GIRLS
 
Ballet/Tumbling (3-4 year olds): Leotard (any color), footless or convertible tights (so children can go barefoot for tumbling), removable skirt optional. Pink leather or canvas ballet shoes (no stretchy slippers). No dress up clothes or long skirts.
 
Ballet: Leotard (any color), tights, pink leather or canvas ballet shows. Skirt optional. Hair in a ponytail or bun.
 
Tap: Leotard (any color), tights, jazz pants, or gauchos allowed. Black tap shoes.
 
Jazz/Hip Hop: Leotard or tee shirt (not baggy), Jazz pants, capris, or gauchos. Black jazz sneaker. NO jeans! Avalon tee shirts are available for purchase at the front desk.
 
Tumbling: Leotard, tights or jazz pants optional. No baggy clothing. White tumbling shoes.
 
Modern: Comfortable clothing (not baggy), bare feet.
 
 
BOYS
 
Ballet: Black jazz or sweat pants or tights, tee shirt that can be tucked in. Black ballet shoes.
 
Tap: Black jazz or sweat pants, tees shirt that can be tucked in. No jeans. Black tap shoes.
 
Jazz/Hip Hop: Black jazz or sweat pants, tee shirt that can be tucked in. No jeans. Black jazz sneaker.
 
Tumbling: Black jazz pants, sweat pants, or shorts (no zippers or buckles), tee shirt must be tucked in. Black tumbling shoes.
 
Modern: comfortable clothing (not baggy), bare feet.
 
 
ADULTS
 
Comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear. Leotards not required, but welcomed! Zumba participants will need a clean pair of athletic shoes or jazz sneakers.
